DreamFace
Quickly generates believable UGC-style avatar videos, but the free plan ships with low-res, watermarked, captionless exports.
A usable rough draft tool, not a publish-ready ad generator
- You want a quick, downloadable avatar-video draft on the free plan.
- You can tolerate a permanent watermark and low-resolution export.
- You plan to add your own product shots, captions, or cropping afterward.
- You need consistent 1080×1920 exports.
Our take
DreamFace's free plan did produce downloadable avatar videos, and the bedroom-style FutureSmart output felt authentically UGC. But the results were inconsistent and rough: exports changed size between generations, every clip carried a permanent watermark, none included captions, the product never appeared on screen, and hand glitches showed up more than once. It can help you draft a talking-avatar ad quickly, but not one you'd ship as-is.

Feature-by-Feature Breakdown
Talking-Avatar Video Generation▾
Feature tested: Talking-Avatar Video Generation
Result: Passed
Expected behavior: Turns a written UGC-style script into a finished vertical presenter video. In the tests it produced a bedroom-style bust shot for FutureSmart AI, an indoor seated talking-head for Nike Pegasus 41, and a full-body office presenter for Duolingo.
Test case: Text prompt → Video file
Input type: Text prompt
Input used: Input artifact (Text prompt): INPUT
Observed output: Output artifact (Video file): A finished vertical AI-generated talking-head video of a blonde woman in a pink bedroom. Across the clip she speaks and moves her hands naturally, with small changes in mouth shape, eye movement, and hand position from frame to frame; the watermark stays fixed at the bottom. — DreamFace output 1.mp4

Observed output: Output artifact (Video file): A finished vertical AI-generated talking-head video of a man seated indoors in front of framed photos and a lamp. Over time he gestures with his right hand and moves his mouth as if speaking, while holding a slim object upright in his left hand; the watermark remains fixed at the bottom. — DreamFace output 2.mp4

Observed output: Output artifact (Video file): A man in a navy blazer and gray T-shirt stands in a bright office and appears to be talking to camera while gesturing with both hands. Across the sampled frames his right hand moves from a raised open-palmed gesture to a lower resting position, while the left hand shifts slightly near his torso. — DreamFace output 3.mp4

Why it matters / Conclusion: The core avatar-video workflow works, and the outputs can read as plausible UGC drafts, but the free-plan results are held back by low resolution, a permanent watermark, missing captions, recurring hand glitches, and no product shown on screen.

Direct Video Export▾
Feature tested: Direct Video Export
Result: Passed
Expected behavior: Lets you download the rendered MP4 directly after generation on the free plan, without recording the screen. This was exercised on all three outputs and worked each time.

Why it matters / Conclusion: Direct download is a genuine strength on the free tier, even though the resulting files are watermarked and the exported dimensions are inconsistent.
