Our take
Picsart is a strong free-plan option for single-subject video background removal: it produced watermark-free native exports, tracked motion well, and handled a talking head and walking subject cleanly. The tradeoffs are real, though: it only removes backgrounds, never replaces them; free-tier output was downscaled on the 4K beach clip; strong backlight and saturated backgrounds left color bleed; and when a second person entered frame, Picsart erased them instead of preserving them.
