We tested QuillBot’s AI Humanizer as part of our Best AI Humanizer & Detector Bypass Tools (2025) research to determine if it could rewrite AI-generated text to pass Winston AI detection.

Testing scenarios:

• Rewriting AI-generated text using standard paraphrasing mode
• Evaluating results for both fluency improvement and detector evasion

Best performance use case discovered:

Enhancing sentence flow and clarity, especially for non-native English writers who want cleaner, more natural phrasing without changing meaning.

Results:

• Human Score: 0%
• Readability: 27
  Despite improved sentence structure, the rewritten text was still flagged as AI-written.

Limitations:

• Ineffective for bypassing AI detectors in our trials
• Free tier word limit restricts long-form rewriting
• Minor changes in word choice without significant structural variation for detection evasion

Methodology:

We fed the same AI-generated passage into multiple tools, then measured results using AI detection software, readability scores, and plagiarism scans.
