Correct a field value
A human-applied correction changes a returned field value in the stored record.
What this scenario means
This scenario checks whether the tool keeps a human correction in the stored output after the value has been changed. A good tool accepts the corrected value, stores it, and shows the same corrected value when the record is read again. It tests whether review changes really stick, not whether the original extraction was perfect.
What we evaluate
- Whether a human-applied change becomes the stored field value.
- Whether the corrected value is still present when the record is read again.
- Whether the original returned value is replaced rather than kept as the stored value.
Capabilities this scenario exercises
A scenario may exercise one or more capabilities.
Review and Correction
A human fix reaches the stored record and the systems downstream of it.

Structured Document Extraction
Which document extraction platform turns a user-defined schema into correct structured records — across layouts, scans and repeated sets — and is honest about what it could not find?
