🔧Tools & Their Roles
To bring our AI influencer to life, we used four free tools, each serving a unique purpose:
1. Leonardo AI – Character Base Creation
Leonardo AI was used to generate the initial reference image of the AI influencer. With 150 free daily credits, and 10 credits per generation (when using the Flux Schnell model), it’s ideal for experimenting with different base looks, styles, and aesthetics.
2. FLUX Playground – Consistent Image Generation
For creating different poses of the same character without losing visual consistency, FLUX Playground gave the best results. We used the Kontext Pro model, set aspect ratio to 9:16, and generated two images per batch.
3. Google AI Studio (Veo 2) – Animation & Motion
We used Veo 2 in Google AI Studio to animate still images. Uploading the image and using the generation prompt produced cinematic camera motion and subtle expressions. You get three free generations per day.
4. Hedra – Lip Sync & Voice
Hedra allowed us to make the AI character talk. By uploading the image and a short voice-over, the platform generates a lip-synced video. It performs best on front-facing images, and with 300 free credits on signup, short clips under 10 seconds cost just 36 credits.
🎯 Prompts Used at Each Stage
To maintain visual and narrative consistency across tools, we used carefully written prompts at each stage of the AI character creation process.
📌 1. Reference Image Prompt (Leonardo AI)
This was used to create the initial character base — a neutral, polished look that could later be adapted to various scenarios:
"Generate a high-quality, realistic image of a 20-year-old female model standing confidently against a plain, solid-colored background. She should be wearing a simple yet stylish and eye-catching outfit that complements her youthful appearance. The lighting should be soft and flattering, with a natural pose that highlights her elegance and charm."

📌 2. Scene Variations for Character (FLUX Playground)
Once the base look was ready, we generated multiple scenarios around the same character by slightly modifying the scene description. Each of the following prompts preserved the character’s core identity while placing her in a different environment:
📷 Prompt 1 – Urban Street Look:
"Now make it like the character in this image walking down a bustling city street during golden hour. She’s wearing a trendy streetwear outfit—oversized jacket, crop top, high-waisted jeans, and sneakers—while casually sipping a coffee and looking confidently at the camera. Background should include soft sunlight, blurred pedestrians, and urban architecture.

🏖️ Prompt 2 – Beach Scene:
"Now make it like the character in this image standing on a sunny beach with the ocean in the background. She’s wearing a breezy summer dress and sunglasses, barefoot on the sand, with the wind gently blowing her hair. She’s smiling naturally, holding her sandals in one hand and enjoying the calm sea breeze."
☕ Prompt 3 – Cozy Café Ambience:
"Now make it like the character in this image sitting by a window in a cozy, aesthetic café. She’s dressed in a warm, casual outfit—knitted sweater, plaid skirt, and boots—while reading a book and sipping a latte. The lighting should be soft and natural with a peaceful ambiance."

🌲 Prompt 4 – Forest Trail Morning:
"Now make it like the character in this image standing on a forest trail during early morning light. She’s wearing comfortable outdoor clothing—a fitted jacket, leggings, and hiking boots—with a small backpack. She’s gazing into the distance, surrounded by trees, mist, and a sense of calm adventure."
Each prompt was run in Kontext Pro mode in FLUX Playground with 9:16 aspect ratio, ensuring all scene changes retained the character’s face and vibe.
📌 3. Google AI Studio Prompt
In Google AI Studio (Veo 2), we either reused the exact prompt used in FLUX for that specific image or simply used:
“Animate this image”
This allowed Veo 2 to interpret the visual and bring it to life with subtle motion, lighting shifts, and facial expression changes.
📌 4. Voiceover Script for Hedra
The final lip-synced dialogue used in the Hedra-generated clips was:
“Hey Guys my name is Sarah and I am your AI influencer.”
This short sentence was synced with the character's animation to showcase speech realism.
🔄 Step-by-Step Workflow
Follow this exact order to build your own AI influencer:
1. Generate Images in FLUX
- Upload the reference image
- Choose the Kontext Pro model or you can explore other models as per your choice.
- Set desired aspect ratio
- Choose desired batch size
- Download the most accurate, consistent faces
If you don’t have a base image, generate one in Leonardo AI using the same prompt you'll use later.
2. Add Animation in Google AI Studio
- Select Veo 2 under “Generate Media”
- Upload the image
- Paste the same prompt (or type “Animate this image”)
- Choose desired aspect ratio
- Set required duration
- Generate and download
3. Make the Character Talk in Hedra
- Upload the animated image
- Add a voice-over (recorded or AI-generated)
- Generate lip sync
- Export the MP4 file
This gives you a fully-animated, talking AI influencer—all without spending anything.
🔍 Observations & Tips
From our testing, here are some key takeaways:
- Flux’s Kontext Pro kept facial features more stable than other models like Ultra or Max
- Veo 2 provided smoother camera motion and better expression rendering than Pika or Runway
- Hedra performed best on forward-facing images; side views were slightly less accurate in mouth movement
- Prompt Reuse across tools is essential for visual and stylistic consistency
- Total Cost of the entire process: under 50 FLUX credits, with no payment required for the rest.

📈 Content Strategy & Expansion
Once your first character is done, it’s easy to scale production:
🌀 Batch Content Creation
Generate 5–10 different poses in FLUX. Animate and voice each one for a week’s worth of Shorts or Reels.
🗣️ Voice Variations
Use different voices from ElevenLabs or your own recordings to give your character regional accents, different personas, or even multi-language support.
🖼️ Brand & Caption
Use captioning tools like Captions.ai to add subtitles, callouts, and brand overlays before uploading to Instagram or TikTok.
👥 Mix Characters for Duets or Stories
Create more characters and script dialogues, reactions, or mini-dramas to build a unique AI story universe.
