Table Extraction
Relational data — values whose meaning lives in row/column association; the one type whose partial failure yields confidently wrong downstream answers rather than gaps
What this capability means
A tool has Table Extraction when it keeps tabular data as a table after conversion. Rows, columns, headers and values must stay correctly associated so the table’s meaning survives in Markdown.
Boundary: It does not judge chart interpretation or other enrichment beyond the table’s own structure and values.
Scenarios that test this capability
A scenario is a real-world situation used to test a capability.
Benchmarks that include this capability
A capability has global identity and may be used by more than one benchmark.
