Knowledge Sync
The indexed state converges on the source after content is added, changed or removed. Each test follows the subject's own documented refresh path to completion; elapsed time is recorded, convergence is what is graded, and a path that never completes is recorded as non-convergence rather than as a large duration.
What this capability means
Knowledge Sync is the capability for a managed service to keep its index aligned with the source after content changes. A tool has this capability if, after following its own documented refresh path to completion, newly added content becomes findable, edited content is reflected correctly, and deleted content no longer appears as if it were still present.
Boundary: It does not judge ordinary retrieval or answer quality on unchanged content; it judges whether later source changes are reflected in the index.
Scenarios that test this capability
A scenario is a real-world situation used to test a capability.
Benchmarks that include this capability
A capability has global identity and may be used by more than one benchmark.
Managed RAG
Which managed RAG service turns a folder of private documents into a query API that finds the right passage, answers only from what it retrieved, cites the source that actually supports the claim — and keeps up when the source changes?
