The answer was never in the schema
The question is about something in a document that nobody asked to extract. Illustrative only (not the fixture): the schema captured vendor, date and amount, and someone asks what payment terms one invoice gives — printed on the page, never extracted. THE DECISIVE BINDING, and the defect is the MISREPRESENTATION, not the retrieval: answering from the document text is allowed IF DISCLOSED; the failure is presenting it as extracted structured data, because the reader will assume the value is in the export, filterable and countable, and it isn't.
