DocuMind AI
Describe what your project does?
DocuMind AI is a Multi-Agent RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) system built with FastAPI, LangGraph, ChromaDB, and Streamlit. Users upload documents (PDF, TXT, DOCX) which are chunked, embedded, and stored in ChromaDB. When a user asks a question, three AI agents work sequentially: the Query Analyzer classifies the question type, the Retriever fetches relevant document chunks from ChromaDB using semantic search, and the Synthesizer generates an accurate answer using OpenAI GPT by combining the query with retrieved context. The system provides intelligent, source-backed answers while maintaining a clean, modern interface with user authentication and document management features.
