Describe what your project does?
RepoChat is an AI-powered tool that enables users to interact with any public GitHub repository through natural language chat. It clones and processes repos to provide a visual file explorer and answers detailed questions about the codebase using advanced retrieval-augmented generation with LangChain, vector search (ChromaDB), and Google Gemini AI. This project makes exploring and understanding large or unfamiliar codebases much faster and more intuitive, helping developers save time and gain insights efficiently. It matters because it enhances developer productivity by simplifying complex code exploration tasks through conversational AI.
