Describe what your project does?: KisanMitra is an AI-powered multilingual agent built to help Indian farmers by delivering timely and reliable agricultural information. It works as a conversational assistant accessible through chat, voice, and even basic call, so farmers can use it on the simplest phones. The system supports multiple Indian languages and provides updates like current mandi prices, farming news, and other context-aware guidance to help farmers make better decisions., allowing farmers to easily ask questions related to: Crop selection and sowing schedules Pest and disease management ( integrated to identify diseases) Latest regional NEWS related to farming and agriculture Weather updates Government schemes and subsidies Loan and market information By integrating voice-first technology, personalized memory, and real-time data retrieval, KisanMitra ensures even farmers with low digital literacy can get critical support using just a basic phone. This prototype empowers users by reducing dependency on middlemen or unreliable sources, and bridges the gap between farmers and expert-level advice in a human-friendly way.
