My project, the ViralSpark Studio, solves a major problem for content creators by automating the tedious process of turning one long video into many small social media posts. The application uses AI to automatically transcribe the video, identify the best highlights, and generate short, shareable clips. It can also translate and add permanent subtitles directly onto these clips. Finally, it writes engaging social media posts with relevant hashtags, saving creators hours of manual work.

I used OpenAI's Whisper for transcription, a local Llama 3 model via Ollama for all generative AI tasks, and FFmpeg for video clipping and subtitle processing.

Every long-form video and podcast is a goldmine of untapped potential. The problem is, most creators don't have the time or the team to manually mine that gold. ViralSpark Studio is the automated refinery that does it for them, transforming a single piece of content into a full-scale social media campaign. It’s built to empower the modern creator: For The YouTuber, it transforms a single deep-dive video into a week's worth of viral-ready Shorts and Reels, each with perfectly synced, multilingual subtitles to capture a global audience. For The Podcaster, it shatters the audio barrier, converting their most powerful quotes into compelling, subtitled video clips that command attention on visual feeds like LinkedIn and Instagram. For The Online Educator, it deconstructs a dense one-hour lecture into a series of focused, digestible micro-lessons, making complex topics more engaging and shareable than ever before.
